Must have: groups with members, expenses with payer + participants + split rule, computed balances per member, settle-up action that records a transfer. Don't: recompute balances on the client by replaying every expense on each render, allow negative shares, or delete expenses without a soft-delete trail. First screen: group view with current balances at the top and the expense feed below.
