Build: a shared inbox where customer emails land as tickets and the team replies from the app. Must have: tickets with status (Open, Pending, Closed), assignee, reply thread, inbound webhook from the email provider, outbound replies that thread correctly. Don't: store the raw email body in the ticket title, give every signed-in user access to every ticket, or send replies without the original Message-ID header. First screen: ticket list filtered to "Open & unassigned" with a count badge.
